Dipping my toe into poetry

This may be a bit cringy but why am I denying myself the option of baring my mind and heart in front of others in a new form.
Inspired by Megan Fox’s poetry collection “Pretty Boys are Poisonous” and Jack Edwards’ YT video reviewing Megan’s book as well as other poetry collections that fall in the “Notes app/Tumblr” poetry style. I’ve read both bad and good but I really think that this style of poetry is the commoner’s entry-point to connect with others’ thoughts and feelings as well as express themselves without judgment through writing because of how unrestricted this type of poetry style is (free form). It will very much depend on the reader if they consider whether a particular writer or collection of work is special to them but I like that it evens the plane and makes it an inviting space for everyone to share and exorcise their angels and demons.
